History
Blashford Manor
Early 19th Century
The house has always been known locally as Blashford Manor although in the strict sense of the word it is not actually a Manor House but a large farmhouse originally built in the Arts and Crafts style during the early part of the 19th century. The original house was added to during the 1950’s.
Having been empty since the early 1980’s the Manor was purchased as a derelict in 2005 and renovation started a few years after. It has been restored over the past years to provide friendly, homely accommodation. All rooms have wifi, modern TV’s. Complementary beverage tray. Fresh crisp bedding and laundry.

Kayleigh and Martin
Martin and Debbie bought the Manor House in 2006 for their family home. At the time it was quite dilapidated and it took just under 3 years to complete the restoration. They lived there with their two daughters until 2018.
They then turned their attention to the stud farm, stables, yard and the cottage at the front of the property. This took a further 3 years to renovate.
Debbie and Martin are keen environmentalists and are proud to say that they harvest all their rain water. They have underground tanks in the court yard which are used for the farm and the farm animals. They also have reusable energy sources.
Martin is a keen gardener who can be found pottering around the poly tunnel where he likes to grow his own fruit and veg. When in season there are always fresh organic vegetables for sale. But his true love is Motorbikes!
Debbie has a keen eye for interior design, having designed all the rooms in the Manor and the cottages. She is also very hands-on with the farm animals. But her true love is wakeboarding!
Their little family-run business is also assisted by their youngest daughter Kayleigh, who joined them in September 2019, after leaving a veterinary practice. She has a great love of animals and nature. She also enjoys mountain biking and yoga.
